Aasness Auctioneers Garner Several Top Honors

Atop_honors_2013t the Minnesota State Auctioneers Association Conference and Show, held in St. Cloud, MN Jan. 17, 18 and 19, the Aasness Auctioneers team received several top honors during the annual event.

In the showcase Auctioneer Championships event, held on Thursday evening, Cody Aasness was named the 2013 Rookie Champion Auctioneer. Cody is the son of Cary M. and Anita Aasness who are owners and founders of the company. Also Tammy Tisland, who operates out of the companies Bemidji office, finished as a top 5 finalist in Minnesota’s premier auctioneer championship event.

In addition the company was honored to be awarded 3 top honors in the state association’s annual Advertising and Marketing contest. Aasness Auctioneers swept the Farm marketing division winning all 3 divisions at the show including 1st place in the 2 color, multicolor and multicolor multisided poster divisions.

The MN Auctioneers Association is comprised of and attended by many of the states leading auction companies, in addition to top companies from North and South Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa as well. The annual conference features speakers, educational seminars and auction related events pertaining to the auction industry.

Aasness Auctioneers, founded in 1985, has been serving the auction industry for over 28 years conducting well over 5000 Auctions specializing in Real Estate/Land, Ag and Equipment, Classic and Antique Tractors/Toys, Sporting/Firearms along with Estate, Specialty and Benefit Auctions. The company also members of the National Auctioneers Association, currently have offices in Dalton/Fergus Falls and Bemidji, MN, in addition to Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and conduct auctions locally, regionally and nationally.
