We owned our 139 acres of hunting/rec land for 3 1/2 decades. Although a difficult decision, we agreed it was time to sell, and sought out real estate agencies. After having no luck w/ a previous listing agent, Cody approached us and asked to be given a chance to sell the property. After some hesitation we decided to try the auction method. We had realistic expectations but we're blown away by the results and the land sold for well over the listing price! I am including family as it was very apparent working with your team that you are one big family. Thanks for including me in your team on auction day. I also want to express my gratitude to you for the management of a successful auction experience! When I decided to sell my toy collection I was uncertain of the best approach. Cary, your willingness to visit about the process and honesty about how you envisioned things going was much appreciated. The combination of an onsite auction with the online venue via Proxibid proved to be a huge success! The final results ended up nearly 30% higher than I was hoping for. People are amazed when I tell them there were bidders from 30 states and several foreign countries! Thanks again!

We chose Aasness Auctions after several phone calls, emails and a visit. We liked their ethics, honesty and faith based life and business.

Cary, Anita and Tammy come to our farm to do inventory, take pictures and make decisions on where we wanted to advertise. With contract signed, our sale would be on May 4th, 2013. Later on we got a “sale bill” for proof reading….Whoa, were so impressed! It was bright, colorful and beautifully done. It was a brochure, not the ordinary sale bill. It really got a lot of interest and conversation at the local coffee shops.

All was going well until May 2nd, when a blizzard hit us with 14 inches of wet, heavy snow. What a mess! Cary calmly assessed the situation and together we decided we needed an extra day to remove snow before we could line up anything. So we delayed the sale one day. It would be on Sunday May 5th. Anita immediately put notice on the website, called radio and TV stations to announce the change. Sunday come it was sunny and a beautiful day (with mud!) We had a large crowd and online sales really helped us too. We sold one tractor to Belguim, others went to NJ, FL, PA, IL, MI, WI, ND, SD, IA and all over MN. We were very pleased with the outcome. We were very grateful to be working with Cary and his “crew”. We appreciated his experience and organization skill and how to work through adverse conditions.

I have had the privilege of working together with Cary and the team of United Country Aasness Auctioneers over a period of years.
