At the recent Minnesota State Auctioneers Association Conference and Show, held in the Minneapolis, Mn January 19-21, the United Country Aasness Auctioneers team received several top honors during the annual event. The Annual Conference and Show features Speakers, Educational Seminars and Networking, the Auctioneer Championship and other auction related events pertaining to the auction industry.

United Country Aasness Auctioneers was honored to receive top awards for Auction Marketing and Advertising. The company received awards for excellence in multicolor/multisided poster and photography divisions. The company has been honored to have received excellence awards for 25 plus years.

Also in the states Auctioneer Championship showcase event, Cody Aasness, of Fergus Falls, finished in the top 3 being named the Runner-up Minnesota Champion Auctioneer. Cody is the son of World/International Champion Auctioneer Cary M. Aasness and Anita Aasness owners of Aasness Auctioneers LLC based out of Fergus Falls.

Cary M. Aasness, Pres/CEO/Lead Auctioneer of the Company, was also inducted into the MSAA Hall of Fame during a surprise induction at the annual banquet. Aasness said “It was a special night. Such a humbling honor to be recognized and be inducted among many whom I’ve looked up to. It’s an accomplishment of hard work and dedication in serving folks and this great industry for many years; I love what I do.”

United Country Aasness Auctioneers, founded in 1985, has served the auction industry conducting well over 6000 Auctions, specializing in selling Land/Farms/Ranches/Lakeshore, Ag/Farm and Equipment Auctions, Estates, Specialty and Fundraiser Auctions. Also members of the North Dakota, Oklahoma and National Auctioneers Association, the Aasness team conducts auctions locally, regionally and nationally.

At the recent North Dakota State Auctioneers Association Conference and Show, held in Fargo, ND, Feb 6th and 7th, Cody Aasness of United Country Aasness Auctioneers received a top honor during the annual event.

In the showcase Auctioneer Championships event, held on Fri Feb 6th, Cody Aasness was named the North Dakota State Champion Auctioneer. The Championships consist of a judged preliminary round of live selling along with a final round of selling for the Top five finalists. Cody is the son of Cary M. Aasness, who is the 1992 Mn Champion, 1997 All-Around Rv World Champion, 1999 ND Champion and 2005 International Champion Auctioneer, and Anita Aasness, owners and founders of the Auction and Real Estate Company.

In addition United Country Aasness Auctioneers was honored to receive the Top Award in the state association’s annual Advertising and Marketing Contest with their Farm Multi-Color Auction Poster.

The ND State Auctioneers Association is comprised of and attended by many of North Dakota’s, Minnesota’s and South Dakota’s leading auction companies. The annual conference and show features speakers, educational seminars and networking, along auction related events pertaining to the auction industry.
